Kesha Graces Virginia Beach With The TITS OUT TOUR!

Beloved pop star, Kesha, is currently touring and performing at festivals promoting her new album “period” styled as “.” She is also embracing her freedom as a newly independent artist with her first full length release on her very own record label called Kesha Records.

She just wrapped up the North American leg of her well anticipated TITS OUT TOUR which came to Veteran Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach on August 2nd. It was her first time performing at the venue and was a monumental night performing to a sold out crowd.

Fans of Kesha who self proclaim themselves as “Animals,” flocked from all over Virginia to witness an unforgettable night of music and entertainment. Everywhere you looked, you could find “Animals” dressed to the nines in fancy costumes and shiny, glittery outfits to attend the concert.

The night was split into five acts as she performed her way through her extensive catalogue. Beginning with Act I: One of One, Kesha opened the show with her lead single “Tik Tok” from her first album with dramatic flair as she was seen emerging from the top of a triangle-shaped backdrop holding a realistic model of her head wearing bold make-up as a homage to her style from the early days in her career. She then proceeded to perform hits like “Warrior” and “Crazy Kids” before venturing out into the audience during “C’Mon.” Followed by her dancers, she made her way around the venue greeting fans and blessing a few with high fives and hugs.

The night continued with hit after hit of her most popular songs including “Sleazy,” “Cannibal,” and “Take It Off” in Act II: Heaven in Hell, “Blow” in Act III: Genius or Crazy?, “Dinosaur” and "Die Young” in Act IV: Freedom Cunt, “Praying,” “Your Love Is My Drug,” and ending the show with “We R Who We R” in Act V: Period. Throughout the set, she also performed many of her new songs in addition to her most popular ones, including the singles from her new album and a few deepcuts like the enormous pop anthem “DELUSIONAL,” cheeky, carefree “RED FLAG,” and the powerful, soul-wrenching ballad “Cathedral.”

One notable performance was her rendition of her song “Fine Line” in which she was dressed in a straight jacket and incorporating choreography that symbolized her struggles and feelings of being trapped with her past legal battles and personal hardships. The performance was raw and full of emotion as the audience observed respectfully giving her the space to work through the song and for the audience to bear witness to her proclamation.

The whole evening was a spiritual and symbolic celebration as she invited her fans to join her at the altar to reclaim their power alongside her. In fact at one point, she gathered on stage in front of a life-size triangular altar adorned with objects of spiritual significance and performed a ritual of receiving a sacrament in front of the audience.

Every chance she got, Kesha expressed her gratitude to her Animals for sticking by her through the hardest times of her life and for always being present for her. She also shared how much the tour has meant to her and how she has never been happier than she is right now as she has entered this new chapter in her life.  There is no question that Kesha is officially in her Freedom Era and there is nothing holding her back from taking over the music industry.
