Mexican Pop Artist Humbe Brings the “Dueño Del Cielo” Tour to Sacramento, CA

Last Saturday, Mexican pop artist Humbe played a sold out show at Channel 24 in Sacramento, CA. This was one of the last stops of the US leg of his “Dueño Del Cielo” tour, following the release of his studio album Dueno Del Cielo, or Owner Of The Sky. Known for hits like "Fantasmas" and "Kintsugi", Humbe gained popularity with his emotional, R&B-infused pop music.

Fans were dressed on-theme for the night, with dreamy white and sky blue outfits reminiscent of his Dueno Del Cielo album. The venue quickly filled, and with it, the energy and anticipation in the room steadily grew. At the barricade, fans held up handmade signs and photos of Humbe, eager to catch his attention.

Opening the show was Arath Herce, an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Veracruz, Mexico. He played a short but intimate set, featuring songs like “Naricita” and “Quiero Sentirlo Todo”. Although it was just him and his guitar on stage, he captivated the audience and filled the room with his resonating voice. Near the end of his set, he introduced himself and encouraged anyone who enjoyed his music to check out his album and follow him on social media, so that one day he can come back and sing for them again.

The lights dimmed just before Humbe stepped onto the stage and a deafening roar filled the room as fans shouted for him to appear. When he finally emerged, joined by a group of dancers, their collective energy pulsed through the entire 2,000-capacity venue. He opened the show with “Astros,” “El Poeta,” and “Bandera,” immediately setting the tone for the night.

As his dancers left the stage, the lights shifted into a deep red glow. Humbe reappeared on a raised platform with a chair, and as “Kintsugi” began to play, he delivered a sensual, captivating performance alongside one of his dancers, instantly commanding the crowd’s full attention.

Engaging visuals played behind Humbe throughout the night, creating a fully immersive experience that complemented each song on the setlist. During “Murallas,” he performed seated in a chair, singing directly to a figure crafted from plants and flowers positioned beside him. The striking visual echoed the song’s themes of longing, emotional distance, and the quiet pain of watching someone you love move on from afar.

Amid the immersive storytelling, there were also lighthearted moments that highlighted Humbe’s playful, comedic personality—something fans often see from him online. During “Te Lo Prometo,” he took an unexpected fall off the platform on stage, yet never missed a beat, continuing to hit every note even while lying on the floor. He later laughed it off, asking fans to send him a video of it and joking that he had recently been wondering how he’d made it through the tour without falling—given it has happened before.

He later thanked the audience for coming and gave a well-deserved shoutout to his production team and band before briefly exiting the stage—only to return moments later for the fan favorite “Amor De Cine.” He concluded the show with songs like “Vegas,” “Tu Valor,” and his hit song “Fantasmas”.

By the end of the night, it was clear that Humbe has solidified his place as one of Mexico’s most compelling pop artists. With a career defined by emotive, R&B-infused melodies and heartfelt storytelling, he not only delivered hit after hit but also crafted an experience that felt personal and immersive for every fan in the room. Humbe’s ability to connect through both music and narrative made the “Dueño Del Cielo” tour stop in Sacramento a memorable night.
