Flor surprises everyone with their latest release “Painted”

August 9, 2024 - Oregon-based, alt-pop trio, flor, surprise-dropped their newest single “Painted”. After their third album, Future Shine, released in 2022, the band decided to take a step back to figure out the creative direction they wanted to take their music in. They joined alt-band, The Maine, on their tour at the end of last year, and came back feeling refreshed with “Painted” being their fifth single release of the year.

“Painted,” is the perfect song to add to a summer playlist, capturing that warm feeling of falling in love. The lyrics “it ain’t about the words, it’s about the feel of it,” may ring true, as the bubbly acoustic guitar emphasizes the feeling, but the words definitely do help portray an all-encompassing love that feels playful and exciting.
